Design Tips
You have 3 seconds to make an impact on a potential customer while exhibiting.
In those 3 seconds you need the customer to know, who you are and to grab their interest.
How do you do it?
You use photos or images that pertain to what you do, one or two large photos is much better then 7 or 8 small photos. A lot of small images will confuse the eye and your potential customer will walk away. You don't want a lot of copy, it will look to busy and no one is going to stand there and read it, that's what your hand outs are for. You just want one or two lines of copy with an image that will get out what you do and who you are.
The Layout
Your Identity
You want your logo or company name to be near the top of the display, if your display has a header, that's a good place to put your logo. You want your company name to be seen even if people are standing in front of the rest of your display. You also want to put a tag line near the top as well, so if people don't know your company, they at least know what you do.
Photo Choice
You want to choose one or two photos that explain what you do, if you are going to use product pictures put your most popular, most innovative, or newest product on the display. Don't flood your display with every single product you sell. If you are going to buy stock photos make sure you get one that fits your company.
End Caps
If your display has graphic end caps, this is a good place to put your web address, your company name, or your type of business, products or service. I potential customer looking for what you do, will see this from a few booths away and will go directly to you in skip by the other exhibitors.
The Overall Look and Feel
The finished graphics should look and feel like the rest of your companies printed material. You want to keep your identity consistent so someone who's seen an ad you've placed, or received a mailer will instantly know who your company is.
